Øjne are Italian and play screamo and yes they sound a bit like La Quiete. The vocals are a little deeper and rougher though, giving me vibes of another great but less well known Italian band, Endless Inertia. It's nice that some people are doing this sort of thing again. In all honesty, in doesn't make me want to run out and buy it, but it does make want to listen to the two aforementioned bands and remember how great screamo is. Having said that, this is solid stuff and 'Naufragio', the fourth track, is an absolute standout. Just really simple driving riffs for about a minute before the vocals go for it, then the classic trick of a quiet melodic passage which returns quickly to chaos. It's the tried and tested formula but it's nailed here. Five songs, a bit uneven, but with several highlights among them.
